Sceintology Ministers

Church Services

Scientology ministers perform many of the same types of ceremonies and services that ministers and priests of other religions perform. Each Sunday and Wednesday the Church's chaplain conducts a service for members of the church, as well as to any non-members who may wish to attend.

At this service the minister will speak about some topic related to an important Scientology principle or practice and discuss how it can be applied to daily life. A typical sermon would last for around 45 minutes, and is attended by up to one hundred people.

These church services can do much to revitalize the religious commitment of Scientologists, and can offer hope and spiritual betterment to non-Scientologists alike. Scientologists respect the beliefs of other religions, and welcome members of other churches openly.

Additionally, Scientology congregations celebrate weddings and baby naming ceremonies with their own formal ceremonies, as well as mark the passing of family and friends in funeral rites. The Chaplain or other Scientology ordained minister may conduct such services.

At the core of all such services, as it is in many other religions, is the belief that Man is a spiritual being. And it is from this viewpoint that one may view the world.

If you would like to attend a church service, you may call the Chaplain on (03) 9654-8655, or come in to the Church of Scientology at 42-44 Russell St., Melbourne -Wednesday at 1.30 pm or Sunday 11.00 am.
