The Melbourne Advanced Clinical Course

Upon the completion of the Melbourne Congress, L. Ron Hubbard held the Melbourne ACC, or Advanced Clinical Course to teach more advanced students of Scientology.

Here, he continued with his goal of how to produce spiritual freedom and the various factors preventing people from achieving this state.

In Melbourne, LRH covered the ability to create and confront and developed the historic Melbourne Processes, still used by Scientology practioners today. Mr. Hubbard covered what the effects of the "tremendous quantities of space" in Australia have on its residents and the specific manifestations and characteristics of Australians when compared to their South African and English counterparts.

The Melbourne Congress and ACC acted as a catalyst to expand Scientology all over Australia. Scientologists who attended the Congress and ACC, returned to Adelaide and opened the Adelaide Mission and later formed it into an org. The Director of Training Perth attended the ACC, returned to Perth and over the next two years and with the contributions of many eager Perth Scientologists, turned Perth into a full fledged Scientology Organization in 1962 under the wing of Melbourne.
